Jeff and Kathy have both been active in the horse industry since childhood. In addition to reiners, they also produce friesian-cross warmbloods and sport pony crossbreds. Both work part-time off the ranch as consultants. Jeff's outside interests include sailing, travel, and photography.

The breeding program exclusively selects conformationally correct stallions. They must be proven to produce trainable minds and tractable temperaments. They must also produce the athletic prowess essential to the planned purpose, e.g the powerful stops so necessary to the sport of reining.
The training program utilizes horsemanship techniques in a progressive manner, as articulated by Clinton Anderson, in a virtual "recipe" for a well-broke horse. Each building block lesson rests firmly on a reliable foundation.

Trainers
Jeff and Kathy imprint foals following Dr. Miller's techniques. Jeff halter trains the youngsters. Kathy and her assistant trainers start the colts under saddle. The assistants do the majority of initial riding with the main goal of firmly instilling impulsion and forward motion. Kathy teaches lateral work and vertical flexion. And outside trainer Charlie Wills puts the finish on them and provide lessons and coaching.
